I met D in drama club in grade 10. I still remember her 90's black crushed velvet babydoll dress & Doc Martens. I was the idealist who thought what we were making on stage was amazing. She was always the honest realist who was never afraid to tell me that what we were making was shit. She deserves far more than what this world has provided to her yet remains one of the strongest, funniest and most generous individuals I know. If you're ever in downtown Vancouver, watch out! She has no problem running over anyone who gets in her way!
